Singer Jimmy Beaumont of the Skyliners Dies At The Age Of 76

Jimmy Beaumont – the long-time lead singer of the Skyliners – died Saturday in his sleep at his home in McKeeesport, after a career that lasted nearly 60 years. Jimmy was best known for the 1959 hit, “Since I Don’t Have You”,  which he co-wrote at the age of 18. Scott Tady of the Beaver County Times gave Frank Sparks some history of the singer and the band during today’s edition of Teleforum…

Tady says Beaumont was still singing as recently as Sept. 17th when the Skyliners performed a concert in New York…

Rochester 13 vs OLSH 16 10-6-17

   

The undefeated Rochester Rams led OLSH in a low scoring contest throughout three quarters. Then with less than five minutes left OLSH scored and completed the two-point conversion to go up 14-13 with less than two minutes left. The rams were on the move in their end until a snap went through the endzone resulting in a safty. The final score was 16-13 OLSH upsetting the undefeated Rams.
