Third Avenue in New Brighton was taken back in time on September 9, 2017. Glorious-looking classic cars from the days of yore aligned the main street between the bridge and Junction Stretch for the 20th annual New Brighton Car Cruise.
Pat Septak and Matt Drzik were at the Car Cruise during Solid Gold Saturday Afternoon, and the Personality Prize Wheel and Prize Van also were on display!
If you missed it, or you just want to look again at the cruisin’ cars, check out these photos!

It was tight at the beginning, but Freedom pulled away from New Brighton in the second half and earned their second victory of the season by a score of 28-7. The Bulldogs (2-1) held on to a 7-0 lead at the end of the first half, but the Lions struggled all night to get on the scoreboard and now fall to 0-3 on the year.
Jake Francona (New Brighton) and Kyle Borgman (Freedom) were named the CCBC Players of The Game.
