Beaver Falls Man Pleads No Contest In 2014 Shooting Deaths Of Two Men

A Beaver Falls man today pleaded no contest to two counts of third-degree murder in the deaths of two men after a shootout during a gun deal on a West End street. 26-year-old Michael St. Clair of Beaver Falls, was charged in the November 2014 killings of 17-year-old Diondre Dozier and 18-year-old Martin Brown in Sheraden. Police responding to a shooting scene on Glenmawr Avenue on Nov. 17, 2014, found Diondre Dozier dead and the street littered with 75 shell casings and four guns, including two military-style assault weapons with banana clips. Brown’s body was found the following morning nearby. A white SUV fled the scene and was recovered on the North Side. Inside police found St. Clair’s cell phone and recovered his texts, which indicated he and two other men were going to rob the victims during a gun deal. One text said, “We’re going to hit that lick” and another said, “Let’s get at it.” A third text showed emojis of someone running, an explosion and a gun. Two other parties involved in the shooting have not been charged, although police know who they are. Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey Manning set sentencing for Jan. 3.
