Tonight’s game on WMBA was between Rochester and Western beaver. Rochester had put up 8 points with a touchdown and two point conversion in the first half leaving the score 8 to 0 Rochester. Immediately after the third quarter started Rochester got another touchdown and then missed the p.a.t. making the v score 14 to 0. Late in the third Rochester had a bad snap which caused a fumble that Western Beaver recovered and was able to put up 7 making it 14 to 7 Rochester. With 11:55 left in the fourth the Rams were able to drive in for another touchdown bringing the score to 20 to 7. Rochester then again scored a few minutes later and got a two point conversion to bring the final score to Rochester 28 and Western Beaver 7. The final week of High School Football’s regular season has come, and Beaver County Radio has two games that contain playoff implications.
On 1230 WBVP, the Beaver Bobcats (7-2) will attempt to bolster their bid for a wild-card spot in the 3A Playoffs as they travel to Beaver Falls (1-7) for a 7:00 showdown at Reeves Field. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:30.
On 1460 WMBA, Rochester (6-2) is attempting to claim a Big Seven Conference title in 1A, while Western Beaver (6-3) is attempting to jump the Rams and earn the right to host a first-round playoff game. Pre-game coverage begins at 7:00.
