When they arrived, they found a 48-year-old Thomas Garner suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died overnight. Garner lived alone in the McKinney Drive home and may have known the suspect. No information about a possible suspect has been released at this time. A motive has not been determined, but police do not believe it was a robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact Allegheny County Police at 1-833-ALL-TIPS, or through their social media accounts.

The Salvation Army Is Ready To Bring Holiday Cheer To The Needy

As part of their series “People Purpose Planet”, the Chiropractic Health Center in Chippewa came to A.M. Beaver County to highlight another local non-profit organization that is doing good for the County communities.

This time, Dr. Pete Birchler brought along two pastors from the Beaver Falls Salvation Army (Evelyn and Fabi) to discuss the holiday drives and programs that the organization, traditionally known for its presence in the community during Christmastime, are doing. Among them are “Project Bundle Up”, the distribution of toys and food baskets, and the traditional collections in front of the stores across the county (and country).

For more information about the Beaver Falls Salvation Army, the number is (724) 846-2330.
