According to the criminal complaint, a CYS worker contacted police in late September after the baby arrived to Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital with multiple injuries, including a fractured skull and bleeding on her brain. The infant is in serious condition and currently in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Hummel told police her child was injured in a crash with an Ambridge police car.
