Heritage Valley Health System Still Working To Get Computers Back On Line

Protecting the confidentiality of patient information. That’s the goal of Heritage Valley Health System, in the wake of this week’s worldwide cyber-attack. The diagnostic and lab facilities at the six convenient care  locations at Hertiage Valley are closed today for the second straight day. Commission Chairwoman of Beaver County Sandie Egley on Teleforum

Beaver County Chairwoman Sandie Egley stopped by Teleforum with Frank Sparks on Thursday June 29, 2017. Sandie and Frank highlighted a Women’s Roundtable Luncheon  that was presented by the Engineer’s Society of Western PA and the Women’s Transportation Seminar.  Sandie, Gina Cerilli, Board Chair of Westmoreland County, and Leslie Osche, Board Chair of Butler County were on the panel and fielded questions from the attendees on a variety of topics. Sandie and Frank also discussed the growing popularity of women in politics and the impact in todays society. Chris Shovlin Talks Midland Sports Hall of Fame on Teleforum

Chris Shovlin stopped by Teleforum with Frank Sparks this morning to talk about the 2017 Class of the  Midland Hall of Fame presented by Joe Spanik. Midland Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship Recipients:  This year, the Midland Sports Hall of Fame Committee voted to extend its college scholarship application criteria to include not just graduating students who are current residents of the Borough of Midland, but also to children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc. of graduates of Midland High School.  Recipients:  Rennell Cummings II lives in Midland and is a 2017 graduate of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School.  He will major in Psychology and play basketball at Bowling Green State University.  Leah Nichols of Midland is also a 2017 Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School graduate.  She will major in Allied Health / Nursing at the Community College of Beaver County this fall.  Alexis Scelp resides in Industry and is a 2017 graduate of Western Beaver High School.  She will major in Nursing at the Community College of Beaver County.
