Dino Capestrani, Marketing Director of Concordia Visiting Nurses was on Teleforum with Frank Sparks on Friday February 16, 2018. Dino and Frank talked about “Walking out of the hospital”. Dino told the listeners that what he meant by walking out of the hospital was that studies have proven that patients typically leave the hospital 36 hours earlier if they get up and walk while in the hospital. He said that it’s proven when you get up and get moving you tend to feel better about yourself thus you heal faster and he also gave tips of ways that you can encourage your loved one to get up and moving with your doctors approval. The guys then discusses how Concordia Visiting Nurses can assist patients once they are at home if they are still in need of skilled nursing care. Frank and Dino also talked about Concordia Visiting Nurses celebrating their 20th Anniversary in 2018 and how anyone who is interested in a career with Concordia Visiting Nurses could go about applying for a position.
