Arby’s Purchases Buffalo Wild Wings !!!!

Arby’s is buying Buffalo Wild Wings, the chain of sports bars, for $2.9 billion.                    In an all-cash deal, Arby’s is paying $157 per share for Buffalo Wild Wings, a 7 percent premium based on Monday’s closing price. Buffalo Wild Wings stock had been much lower before rumors about a deal with Arby’s surfaced two weeks ago.                    The stock rose again in premarket trading Tuesday on news of the purchase agreement.                                                                                                                                                   The deal will take Buffalo Wild Wings private. Arby’s is owned by Roark Capital, which also has big stakes in Auntie Anne’s, Carvel and Jimmy John’s.                                   Analysts have also speculated that the chain could be hurt by lower NFL ratings this season, and some of the controversy swirling around the league. But company officials, while reporting better than expected earnings recently, said they had not seen evidence of a hit from the NFL’s problems.

Mike Sullivan Addresses Goalie Issue For Penguins

Jake Guentzel scored twice and Sidney Crosby scored 1:48 into overtime, and the Penguins win over the Philadelphia Flyers in comeback fashion; 5-4 at the PPG Paints Arena.

The Penguins were down 3-1 when Patric Hornqvist and Bryan Rust scored 39 seconds apart to tie the game early in the 3rd. Then after Michael Raffl put the Flyers ahead, Guentzel’s second goal with 1:04 left sent the game into the extra frame.

Tristan Jarry earned his second win in as many games, coming in to relieve Matt Murray, who left the game in the second period after Flyers forward Jakub Voracek collided with him in the net area.

After the game, head coach Mike Sullivan spoke about the situation with Murray’s injury and the goalies moving forward:

Bob Nelson on Teleforum explaining Open enrollment time.

Bob Nelson from The Robert Nelson Agency was on Teleforum with Frank Sparks on Monday November 27, 2017. Bob took questions from the listeners and explained why it is important to do your homework before you make your decision on which plan to choose. He explained that the Beaver County Office on Aging is one place that can help you if you have questions and Bob cautioned the listeners about attending a seminar that an insurance company is having because they are only aloud to talk about their product and no one else. Pirates Claim LHP Sam Moll off Waivers from the A’s

The Pirates have claimed left-hander Sam Moll off waivers from the Athletics, according to press release. Pittsburgh’s 40-man roster is now at 39 players.

Moll, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Rockies that was traded to Oakland this past August for cash considerations. The A’s designated him for assignment last week when clearing space on their 40-man roster to protect several players from the Rule 5 Draft.

The 2017 season saw Moll make his big league debut in Oakland, though the results weren’t especially pretty. In 6 2/3 frames, the Memphis product was tagged for eight runs on 13 hits (including two homers) and three walks with seven strikeouts.

In 54 1/3 innings between the Triple-A affiliates for the Rockies and the A’s, Moll pitched to a more respectable 3.64 ERA with 7.8 K/9 against 3.1 BB/9. He also registered a promising 50.3 percent ground-ball rate in his 47 1/3 innings with Colorado’s Triple-A affiliate.

He joins Nik Turley as the second southpaw claimed off waivers by the Bucs since the offseason began.

Police Identify 23-Year-Old Lawrence County Woman Who’s Facing Charges Following Death of Newborn

Police have identified a 23-year-old woman who could face charges after a newborn was found dead underneath a home in Lawrence County. Authorities say the homeowner was in the process of hanging up Christmas lights Sunday afternoon when he found the infant in the crawlspace of the Shenango Township home. State police in New Castle have taken the homeowner’s daughter – 23-year-old Brittany Robinson – into custody. Robinson told police that she didn’t know she was pregnant and that the baby had no heartbeat or pulse upon its birth in her bathtub, though law enforcement officials say they found evidence that she knew of her pregnancy beforehand. An autopsy on the newborn will be done today.
