The Congressman is a Republican running against Democrat Connor Lamb. Both Rothfus and Lamb current Congressman live in the 17th District after the new redistricting and now have to face off for the seat.

Hundreds Of UPMC Patients In New Castle Warned Of Possible Risk From Improperly Cleaned Equipment
Patients who recently underwent procedures that involved ultrasound probes at UPMC Jameson in New Castle have been notified about possible health risks from unclean equipment. Hospital officials say the probes used in internal prostate and gynecological exams were not being properly cleaned. The hospital called the risks “extremely low” but is offering each of the 211 patients that may be affected free precautionary testing.
Person Found Shot In Parking Lot Next To Lawrence County Jail In New Castle
One person was found shot early this morning in a parking lot next to the Lawrence County Jail in New Castle. According to Emergency Dispatchers in Lawrence County, the victim was found shortly after 1 a.m. and was taken to a hospital via ambulance. The person’s condition has not been released. Still no word on whether anyone was arrested in the case.
