In a game heard on WBVP and TribLive it was Bob Barrickman and Jason Calangelo on the call form New Castle High School  Where the Aliquippa Quips took on the Neshannock Lancers in 3A playoff action. It was a game that started out back and fourth with Aliquippa leading by 1 after 1. Neshannock used a run in the second to take a four point lead at the half. Starting the 3rd it was all the Lancers, making it a 14 point game. Then Aliquippa started to take over cutting the lead to five. Aliquippa took the lead late in the fourth and never looked back and won 68-65. The quips advance in the 3A playoffs while the Lancers aren’t out of consideration for the state tournament, but will need help to get in.
