Joe Biden has another big primary night, wins 4 more states
By WILL WEISSERT and LAURIE KELLMAN Associated Press
WASHINGTON (AP) — Joe Biden has had another big night in the Democratic presidential primary, capturing four more states, including Michigan. The key battleground state helped propel Bernie Sanders’ insurgent candidacy four years ago, and the loss on Tuesday dealt a serious blow to his 2020 campaign. The former vice president also won Missouri, Mississippi and Idaho, showing strength with working-class voters and African American voters. Sanders’ narrow hopes for good news rested on North Dakota and Washington state, where votes are still being tabulated. Addressing supporters in Philadelphia, Biden noted that many had “declared that this candidacy was dead” only days ago, but “now we’re very much alive.”

But, that was not enough to stop Penn Cambria as they  opened the second quarter on a 6-0 run and later cut the lead going into the half to 2 points. But, despite all their efforts it was not enough as the Lady Beavers started the second half on fire and kept up the pressure on the Lady Panthers. Coronavirus spreads in Pennsylvania, as cancellations grow
Pennsylvania is confirming more cases of the new coronavirus, as more schools canceled classes, travel or events. The state Department of Health reported another positive test for COVID-19 on Tuesday in a resident of Montgomery County. Philadelphia also reported its first test. That brings the statewide total to at least 11, while Germantown Academy says a student has been sickened after their parent tested positive. All people who tested positive live in eastern Pennsylvania, and nearly all are believed to have contracted it by traveling outside the state. Meanwhile, the 2020 Northeast Regional Science Olympiad at Penn State Wilkes-Barre was canceled.
