Wendy’s Employees Fired After TikTok Video of Man Bathing in Sink Surfaces

Several employees at a Wendy’s restaurant in Michigan have been fired after a TikTok video of a man taking a bath in the restaurant’s kitchen sink surfaced online. The video, which was posted on Facebook last Tuesday, shows a shirtless man submerged in a soap-filled Power Soak sink surrounded by cackling employees at a Wendy’s in Greenville, Michigan. The video has been viewed more than 327,000 times and shared nearly 2,000 times since being posted a week ago. In the clip, a worker throws what appears to be a sponge at the man, telling him to “wash” himself. Wendy’s released a statement last week saying the video was “completely unacceptable” and that all the employees were fired immediately.

Justices to Hear Philly Dispute Over Same-Sex Foster Parents

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court will hear a dispute over a Philadelphia Catholic agency that won’t place foster children with same-sex couples. The justices will review an appeals court ruling that upheld the city’s decision to stop placing children with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s agency because it would not permit same-sex couples to serve as foster parents. The appeals court ruled the city did not target the agency because of its religious beliefs but acted only to enforce its own nondiscrimination policy in the face of what seemed to be a clear violation. The case will not be argued until the fall.
