Cornell defeats Rochester 14-7!

The Cornell Raiders defeated the Rochester Rams tonight 14-7, in a game were defense, and  penalties was the major factor in deciding the games outcome. The game started with Cornell’s Tim Henderson taking the opening kick-off 80 yards for a touchdown, giving the Raiders the early 7-0 lead. The Rams answered back in the second quarter when JD Azulay had a 67 yard touchdown run to tie the game heading into the half. The second half was much of same with both teams hurting themselves with penalties but it was the Rams turnovers that ultimately cost them the game. Despite the amount of penalties the suffered they were able to score when Tim Henderson scored on a 50 yard run to take the lead and seal the victory for the Raiders. Rochester moves to 5-2 on the year and they will play Shennago next week, and Cornell moves to 6-1 as they will play Fort Cherry next week.
