Ivanka Trump is weighing in on the House impeachment inquiry of her father from half a world away in Morocco. President Donald Trump’s daughter and White House adviser tells The Associated Press she shares her father’s view that the impeachment investigation is about “overturning the results of the 2016 election.” But she’s less concerned about identifying the whistleblower whose complaint launched the investigation, saying Friday the ID is “not particularly relevant.”

Trump Campaign Launching Black Outreach Effort for 2020

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is launching a new “Black Voices for Trump” outreach initiative. It’s dedicated to “recruiting and activating Black Americans” in support of Trump. Advisers say much of that effort will focus on highlighting ways that African Americans have benefited from the Trump economy. But critics are skeptical, given Trump’s consistently dismal approval rating with black voters. Trump and his campaign will be launching the initiative Friday.

The Pittsburgh lawsuit argues the city unfairly levies a 3% earned income tax on visiting professional athletes while taxing all other residents at 1%. Attorney Stephen Kidder says the tax violates the state and U.S. constitutions.
