SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — DC Shoes co-founder Ken Block has died in a snowmobiling accident near his home in Utah. The 55-year-old professional rally car driver was known for his driving prowess and marketing savvy, revolutionizing the sport through YouTube videos that racked up more than 1 billion views. Block’s snowmobile landed on top of him Monday while he was on a steep slope in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The Southern California native was pronounced dead at the scene. His friends and racing teammates at Hoonigan Sports remembered Block as a industry pioneer and visionary.
