Battling San Rocco’s Festa Case Moved to Orphan’s Court

Beaver, Pa.) The San Rocco Foundation  alleges that they don’t have access to financial records or funds  that the San Rocco Cultural  Committee is in possession of, according to Attorney John Havey. An injunction hearing was held on Thursday morning in Judge  James J. Ross’s chambers at the Beaver County Courthouse.
Judge Ross ruled on at the hearing that the case should be moved to Beaver County Orphan’s Court with Court of Common Pleas Judge Dale Fouse. According to Attorney Havey, who is the legal council for the foundation, Pa Attorney General Josh Shapiro needs to be notified of the action and a Havey said that the injunction will be filed on Monday, July 18, 2022, with Judge Fouse.
The San Rocco Cultural Committee was formed in 1925 and  the 2 groups merged in 2018. Both groups are planning events in Center Township. Friday, August 13 to Sunday August 15, 2022  The traditional mass at St. Titus  Roman Catholic Church is on  Sunday morning , and the groups will parade through Sheffield Terrace separately.
