(Darlington Twp, Beaver County, Pa.) Pa State Police in Beaver are reporting that they were called to the scene of two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Rt. 51 and Cannelton Road in Darlington Twp. around 2:50 PM on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
Upon arriving on the scene and investigating it was learned that 49-year-old Amy Trotter of East Liverpool, Ohio was operating a 2021 Ford Bronco northbound on Rt. 51 when she failed to stop for a red light.
Trotter’s vehicle struck a 2005 Cadillac CTS being driven by 23-year-old Trey Dillan of Darlington Township that was turning right from Cannelton Road onto Rt. 51.
Dillan suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported to Heritage Valley Beaver. Trotter suffered suspected minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.
Trotter was charged with a traffic signal violation and Dillan was cited for operating a vehicle without official certificate of insurance. There is no word on Dillan’s condition.
