(Aliquippa, Pa.) The American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania Region responded to a multi-family fire in the 500 Block of Superior Avenue in Aliquippa, Beaver County on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

The fire displaced 75 residents from 40 units in the apartment building including 52 adults and 23 children.

Residents were transported to the Salvation Army Building at 514 Franklin Avenue for initial assessment.

The Red Cross has established a shelter at the Franklin Avenue location to provide overnight accommodations, emergency assistance, meals, and recovery planning for displaced residents.
