Two Officers Injured Responding To Domestic Dispute In Ambridge

Two police officers were treated and released from Heritage Valley Beaver after being injured while responding to a dispute in Ambridge late last night. Police were called to Maplewood Avenue where they found Chelsee Cafrelli involved in a heated argument with her boyfriend. Also allegedly involved in the dispute were Cafrelli’s brother, Richard Cafrelli, Jr., and his wife Tracey Cafrelli. Investigators said they were unsuccessful in separating the four. Police say they were jumping on the police officers’ back…and eventually had to be tased and pepper-sprayed. Police say Richard Cafrelli, Jr. also had a gun on him and attempted to reach for it during his arrest. All three are facing charges. Investigators say alcohol was a major factor in the situation.
