National Weather Service Issues a Winter Storm Warning for Monday and Tuesday

(Moon Twp., Pa.) The National weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Winter Storm warning for Beaver County and surrounding area starting at 1 AM Monday morning , February 15, 2021, and lasting until 1PM Tuesday Afternoon.  We could see upward of 6 to 9 inches of snow during the storm and also freezing rain is possible. ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM MONDAY TO 1 PM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
  accumulations of 6 to 9 inches and ice accumulations of a glaze
  to around one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest, southwest and western
  Pennsylvania, east central Ohio and northern West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
