Aliquippa Council approves restructuring of the Planning Commission

(Aliquippa, Pa.) The city’s planning commission once had 7 members,  now there are 5, according to code and zoning officer Jim Bologna.  Councilman Donald Walker made a motion to reconstruct the board to have 3 members and 2 alternates.  Shady S.Jaber, Esquire was appointed as. a new board member by council.

An unsafe structure at 222 Jarvis Street  will be torn down. City Code and Zoning Officer Jim Bologna  reported the situation to council for their approval.
Council approved the  planning commission’s recommendation   forr the water authority’s land development plan.
Council will advertise for bids for  vehicle fuel for the police, fire, and street departments. They are also advertising for a 3 year contract for towing snd storage of accident, impounded and other vehicles for the city.
