Two state legislators are working to introduce an anti-abortion bill next session. Senator Doug Mastriano and Representative Stephanie Borowicz are touring Central Pennsylvania in the hopes of garnering support for their “heartbeat bill,” which would make terminating a pregnancy illegal if a heartbeat were present. Previous heartbeat bills passed in other states have been ruled unconstitutional.
