MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders says felons such as the Boston Marathon bomber and people convicted of sexual assault should be able to vote while in prison. The Vermont senator is seeking the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination and was asked about voting rights for felons at a CNN town hall in New Hampshire on Monday. Sanders says the right to vote “is inherent to our democracy” and should apply “even for terrible people.”
