(Center Township, PA) A fire department that is located in Beaver County now has the best tools available which could save the lives of pets.

Center Township Fire Rescue recently received a donation of three oxygen kits made just for pets, which included different masks for animals of all sizes so they can breathe.

This donation is from Invisible Fence of Pittsburgh through its Project Breathe program.

Leonard Bello, a sales representative with Invisible Fence of Pittsburgh, stated that the company made a donation of pet masks to Center Township crews about 15 years ago.

According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, about 40,000 pets die in house fires each year in the United States, mostly from smoke inhalation, and roughly 500,000 more are affected.
