(Beaver Falls, PA) A man was recently convicted of killing another man almost two years ago and leaving his body in an abandoned building.
According to Beaver County District Attorney Nate Bible, a jury found Daniel Felo II guilty of all the charges that he faced, which were criminal homicide, infliction of serious bodily injury, prohibited possession of a firearm and robbery.
Felo shot and killed forty-eight-year-old Eric Mason of New Brighton in December of 2024, then wrapped the body of Mason in a tarp and left it in an abandoned building in Beaver Falls.
Beaver County dispatchers confirmed that detectives, police and the county coroner were called to a building on 11th Street around 2:50 p.m. on December 30th, 2024.
Sources told WPXI that a body was found in the 200 block of 11th Street.
Beaver Falls police stated that the building was under construction.
Beaver County Coroner David Gabauer noted that Mason was shot in the head and Gabauer’s office ruled the death of Mason as a homicide.
