(Monaca, PA) The second edition of Beaver County Edfest occurred at the CCBC Golden Dome in Monaca yesterday to celebrate the work that local teachers do in their communities.

Teachers from across the county gathered for some coffee and got to hear some advice from guest speaker Michael Bonner.

Bonner is the 4th grade social studies teacher and 6th grade reading teacher at Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta who has been featured on shows like “The Ellen Show.”

Beaver County Edfest will now occur every two years after its appeal from both this year and last year.

This event also occurred last year at the CCBC Golden Dome with guest speaker Jimmy Casas, who is an author, educator and school leader.
