(Ambridge, PA) A box truck slammed through the side of a business in Ambridge today.
According to dispatchers, the crash happened around 6:45 a.m. at the Ambridge Regional Distribution and Manufacturing Center along Duss Avenue.
Photos from the scene of the accident show heavy damage to the building and the truck.
Harmony Township police confirmed that the truck’s driver was traveling down the hill when he said that he lost his brakes, honking his horn to warn others.
The truck went through the wall of the business, which left behind a trail of debris.
Two people were taken to the hospital as a result of this crash.
Pennsylvania State Police troopers are expected to be conducting a complete inspection to determine what led up to this crash.
