(Pittsburgh, PA) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) recently awarded $1,975,000 in grants to three community organizations which provide suicide prevention services to Veterans in Pennsylvania.

This funding is part of grants worth a total of $112 million that were awarded to 191 organizations nationwide to support suicide prevention efforts.

These funds are made available through the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP) and they will become available at the start of fiscal year 2027.
