(Wexford, PA) Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is celebrating the fifth anniversary of AHN Wexford Hospital, which is a full-service, state-of-the-art facility that has become a leading destination of health care for patients throughout northern Allegheny County and neighboring communities in Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties. 

The hospital opened to patients on September 30th, 2021 and the 158-bed hospital features inpatient rooms that are all private, a 24-bed emergency department with rooms that are pediatric-capable, surgical suites that are advanced with robotic technology, intensive care services that are specialized, care for women and infants and diagnostic and imaging capabilities that are advanced.

AHN Wexford Hospital has welcomed over 7,000 babies, performed 30,000 surgeries in its operating rooms and cared for 150,000 patients in its emergency department since it opened.
