(Pittsburgh, PA) Pittsburgh International Airport is having an event today at 11 a.m. to show off its xBridge innovation program. 

This serves as a real-world proving ground for the emerging technology, and two companies will test technology that is cutting-edge and products that are designed to enhance airport efficiency and operations.  

The airport will provide a demonstration with four-legged robots, also called quadrupeds, from Skild AI and it will preview technology from Arrow Analytics which can improve the boarding process.  

Skild AI is now testing a quadruped robotic platform in the real-world operating environment of the Pittsburgh International Airport to determine how autonomous technology can complement existing teams.  

Arrow Analytics is partnering with Southwest Airlines to test its EZ-Board technology in an active terminal environment so the company can explore how technology can improve the process of boarding and give airline teams better real-time information.
