(Pittsburgh, PA) A man is facing charges after police found a pistol inside a carry-on bag at the Pittsburgh International Airport. 

Allegheny County Police responded to a call yesterday at 4:06 p.m. after TSA found the pistol at a security checkpoint. 

The owner of the bag was identified as twenty-six-year-old Isaiah Hernandez of Los Angeles, California. 

Police state that he did not have a valid license for the gun. 

He has now been charged with carrying a gun without a license. 

Anybody who brings a gun to an airport security checkpoint can face federal fines that range from $10,000 to $13,910. 

The FBI is investigating this incident.
