Senator Elder Vogel, Jr. Announces More Than $6.8M in Grants for Projects in Beaver, Butler and Lawrence Counties

(Harrisburg, PA) Senator Elder Vogel, Jr. announced today that projects in Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties were awarded over $6.8 million in Statewide Local Share Account funds from the Commonwealth Financing Authority. 

The Pennsylvania Gaming Act allocates the proceeds from online gaming revenue to support projects in the public interest across the state of Pennsylvania. 

According to a release from Senator Vogel’s office, a breakdown by county of the approved state funding can be found below: 

Beaver County: 29 municipal projects were awarded more than $5 million.

Butler County: 10 municipal projects were awarded $1.7 million.

Lawrence County: Two municipal projects were awarded a total of $100,000.
