(Harrisburg, PA) The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) released the results of its 2026 Labor Day weekend enforcement initiative today as part of its ongoing mission to protect the Commonwealth.

This occurred from September 4 to September 7th.

The PSP investigated 790 crashes at that time, and 152 of them were injury-related and 3 deaths happened as a result of these crashes.

Impaired driving became a factor in 67 of these crashes, and none of them were fatal.

Troopers arrested 450 motorists during that period for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and issued 25,402 citations, which included 6,447 of them for speeding, 770 of them for failing to wear a seatbelt, and 84 of them for not securing children in safety seats.
