(Beaver County, PA) The Beaver County District Attorney is planning to have a local restaurant and bar shut down after a drug raid was performed by law enforcement there last Friday.
Video posted on Facebook Friday showed police outside of Fifth Avenue Taphouse in New Brighton.
Bible said the investigation into this restaurant had been going on for months with the Attorney General’s office, State Police, Beaver County Drug Task Force, New Brighton Police, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Police seized cocaine and a large amount of cash between two buildings, the restaurant and a house linked to the restaurant during the raid.
WPXI noticed state police troopers speaking with employees outside the restaurant and home yesterday afternoon.
According to Bible, his office and the Liquor Control Board will be filing paperwork to have Fifth Avenue Taphouse shut down.
Bible said that charges regarding this incident will be filed soon even though they have not been filed yet.
