(Beaver County, PA) Aerium awarded educational scholarships in August to eight students in Pennsylvania that are pursuing careers in aviation and aerospace.

Two of those eight students are from Beaver County and both of them, along with six others, each received $3,750 scholarships, for their flight school, college and university education:

The local students that received these scholarships were Rowan Duffy of Beaver Falls, who is attending Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and Ava Funkhouser of Beaver Falls, who is attending the Community College of Beaver County.

According to Aerium’s scholarship announcement, the scholarships were awarded through Aerium’s job training fund, which supports workforce development and helps create pathways for students entering aviation and aerospace careers.
