(Beaver County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver will be holding a sobriety checkpoint during the month of September of 2026 in an undisclosed Beaver County location to reduce injuries, crashes and fatalities which are caused by impaired drivers.

Police are reminding the public that 0.08% is the blood-alcohol concentration limit in the state of Pennsylvania for most drivers and that limit is 0.02% for drivers that are under 21 years old.

Police also made the public aware that Paul Miller’s Law is in effect in Pennsylvania, which prohibits drivers from using a hand-held mobile device while driving.
