(Washington, D.C.) Epic, a four-year-old labrador retriever that works at the Pittsburgh International Airport was not the top dog in the TSA’s 2026 Cutest Canine Contest.

The winner was announced yesterday, which was ironically National Dog Day.

Epic was one of three other finalists to lose to the winner, Bolt, who is a German shorthaired pointer who works at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.  

Even though Epic did not win the TSA’s 2026 Cutest Canine Contest, a labrador retriever named Steeler who works at the Pittsburgh International Airport won the 2025 TSA Cutest Canine Contest.
