(Butler County, PA) Two men have now been accused of stealing over $4,000 in power tools from a Home Depot in Butler County. 

Cranberry Township police charged thirty-nine-year-old Brian Ayersman of Ellwood City and sixty-two-year-old Daniel Thomas Houston on Tuesday with one felony count each of retail theft and receiving stolen property and two felony counts of conspiracy following the reported theft on Saturday. 

According to police, they responded Sunday to the Cranberry Township Home Depot for reports of a theft the previous day, and video showed Ayersman and Houston load $4,486.98 in power tools into a cart before both men left the store. 

Police also confirmed that the duo have committed several identical thefts at some Home Depot locations in recent days with some of the thefts exceeding $7,000. 

Preliminary hearings for Ayersman and Houston have not been scheduled yet.
