FRANKLIN PARK – Cindystock 23, the annual outdoor music festival near the Wexford exit of Route 79, returns Aug. 21-22, dipping into some Woodstock lore.

Opening night kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with The Sweet Judys, an all- female Crosby Stills and Nash tribute band. Iconic rock photographer Henry Diltz, the official photographer for the legendary Woodstock music festival, will then
showcase his work in a slide show.

Diltz will talk about shooting over 250 album covers in the 1960s and ’70s, including The Doors, Eagles, Crosby Stills and Nash and Jimi Hendrix, and share
stories about his career with legendary musicians.

Each $60 ticket includes pizza, soft drinks, concert and show. Guests should bring their own chair.

The concert grounds, at the Wexford-Bayne Road home of founders Cindy and Ted Yates, continues Aug. 22, with Pittsburgh’s own acoustic guitarist Bob (Rudy) Rudolph at 3 p.m., followed by San Diego based folk-Americana-soul-country-blues duo Lisa Sanders and Brown Sugar. take the stage next (www.lisasanders.com).
“American Idol” ninth season runner-up Crystal Bowersox takes the stage next, followed by Bill Toms + Hard Rain, a Pittsburgh-based blues, soul and rock band that mixes original material with select covers. Tickets for Aug. 22 cost $60 and
include the concert, full buffet dinner, dessert and soft drinks.

Guests are asked to bring chairs and/or blankets and adult beverages for this rain-or-shine music festival. A discount is available when purchasing tickets for both nights.

Tickets are available at cindystock.org. All proceeds benefit cancer screening programs at Allegheny Health Network, Adagio Health, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and support services at Cancer Bridges and Hair Peace Charities.

To date, Cindystock has raised over $540,000 for local charities.
