(Carnegie, PA) Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) announced today that the Borough of Bellevue is receiving $720,000 for upgrades to their sewer infrastructure.

That funding will pay for improvements to sanitary sewer infrastructure along Straw Avenue in Bellevue, which is a move that is important for public health as well as safety and the longevity of the wastewater system.

The funding for sewer improvement is appropriated by Congress and is granted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the State and Tribal Assistance Grants’ (STAG) Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
