(New Castle, PA) An event will be held this Tuesday, July 14th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting, at New Castle’s AAA East Central Branch Office as AAA East Central and local law enforcement will distribute free steering wheel lock devices to only Hyundai and Kia owners to deter vehicle theft.

There has been an increase that is significant in the theft of these vehicles that are manufactured between 2011 and 2022.

AAA and its partners will be distributing the locks on a first-come, first-served basis and those that attend this event will be asked to show their insurance card or vehicle registration.
