(Pittsburgh, PA) “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” is now available on YouTube for the first time, with a newly launched official channel featuring full episodes, clips, compilations and livestream content.

Fred Rogers Productions said the channel is intended to make the long-running children’s program with Pittsburgh’s favorite neighbor more accessible to new and returning audiences. The project was developed in partnership with digital media agency Little Dot Studios.

Ellen Doherty, chief creative officer and executive producer at Fred Rogers Productions, said the series remains relevant for families today because of its focus on emotional development and kindness.

The channel launched with five full-length episodes, including the first episode that originally aired nationally in 1968. Additional episodes will be released weekly, with 10 full episodes available on the channel at any given time.

The original series aired from 1968 to 2001 and produced 895 episodes.

The channel can be found by clicking here. Episodes of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood can still be found on PBS stations across the country. Select episodes are also available to stream on the PBS KIDS Video app.
