(Moon Township, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Pittsburgh reported yesterday that a 49-year-old McMurray woman was charged following a single-vehicle crash in Moon Township on Wednesday. 

According to police, Shan Hoyt was traveling on Interstate 376 West at approximately 9:08 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle while passing traffic during rainy conditions. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a curb and then a tree. 

Hoyt was transported to Heritage Valley Sewickley with a suspected minor injury, police said.
