Beaver woman charged for causing two-vehicle crash in Chippewa Township with her motorcycle

(Chippewa Township, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver said a 43-year-old Beaver woman was charged following a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Chippewa Township. 

According to police, Christie Holland was operating a motorcycle at a high rate of speed on Interstate 376 East between 8 p.m. and 8:25 p.m. when she struck a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Kristan McKain of Beaver. 

Police said Holland was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered a possible head injury and road rash. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. 

Holland was transported to Allegheny Health Network for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
