(Charlotte, NC) The U.S. Marshals Service, Western District of Pennsylvania announced the arrest of fugitive Earl Kenney Jr., which occurred on Friday in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is charged by the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police with rape of a juvenile, endangering the welfare of children, and failure to register as sex offender. These charges stem from an incident which occurred in Pittsburgh in August of 2025. Kenney was also wanted by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections for a parole violation warrant stemming from an involuntary deviant sexual intercourse charge and conviction back in 2008.The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force received a request from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and Pennsylvania Department of Corrections asking for assistance in locating and apprehending Kenney. Through their investigation, the Fugitive Task Force developed information that he may have fled to North Carolina. The U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Task Force ultimately arrested Kenney in Charlotte.
