(Allegheny County, PA) The tale of two calves that were missing in the North Hills of Pittsburgh has come to a happy ending, but not without shutting down part of the Parkway North yesterday. Two baby cows named Houdini and Whodunit escaped from Eichner’s Farm in McCandless. The 1-year-old cows strolled along the Parkway North near the Camp Horne Road exit. Even though the Dexter-variety cattle were hit with tranquilizer darts before they were brought back to the farm, Ron Eichner of Eichner’s Farm confirms that “it’s been a four-day run” since the calves were found safe.
