(Pittsburgh, PA) PennDOT District 11 announced lane restrictions on I-376 (Parkway East) in Edgewood Borough and the City of Pittsburgh will begin tomorrow, weather permitting. Median barrier reconstruction work that will require around-the-clock lane shifts will be implemented on I-376 in each direction between the Squirrel Hill Tunnel and the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange through mid-April. Single-lane restrictions will occur from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. to allow this work to occur as line eradication, painting, and temporary barrier installation will be conducted to facilitate traffic shifts for median barrier reconstruction work. Once that work is finished, traffic will be shifted into the new long-term configuration.
