Duquesne man dies three days after multi-vehicle crash on the Liberty Bridge

(Pittsburgh, PA) According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner yesterday, a man has died days after a multi-vehicle crash on the Liberty Bridge. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that twenty-eight-year-old Jaren Wilkerson of Duquesne, died yesterday, which was three days after the crash occurred between three vehicles over the weekend. This crash that occurred on the Liberty Bridge early on Sunday morning also killed twenty-five-year-old Laila Makaylea Jones of Baldwin Borough and injured the lifelong friend of Jones. The GoFundMe pages for both victims that died in the crash that were started by their families to assist with their funeral and medical costs can be found below:
