Pittsburgh man arrested and charged in relation to a robbery at a bar in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh

(Pittsburgh, PA) According to Pittsburgh police, charges have been filed against one person as they continue to investigate a robbery at a bar in its Bloomfield neighborhood. A criminal complaint states that Carl Hough of Pittsburgh, who is over the age of sixty, faces charges that include robbery, theft by unlawful taking, aggravated assault, conspiracy and carrying a firearm without a licensePolice confirmed yesterday that the investigation into the incident which occurred at Sonny’s Tavern on February 12th2026 is active and ongoing.” Preliminary information shows that two armed men broke into the bar and demanded money. The suspects then escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash from the bar on the 600 block of Millvale Avenue around 10 a.m. One Sonny’s Tavern employee was assaulted during the robbery and that person had a minor injury and refused medical treatment.
