The Concert 4Cast, a look at Western Pennsylvania’s four coolest concerts for the upcoming weekend:
Fast-rising country-rock band Ole 60 plays its biggest Pittsburgh show yet, headlining Stage AE on Thursday. It’s a sold-out show. The Kentucky band’s Smokestack Town Tour will find Ole 60 playing hard-driving songs like like “Can’t Take It With You” Oklahoma rockers Southhall open the concert at 8 p.m.
The Wallflowers headline the newly renamed Roxian Theater at Citizens on Friday. This, too, is sort of a sold-out show, with Citizens bank having giving away a big batch of free tickets several weeks ago to commemorate the McKees Rocks concert site’s new name. There are a few $47 standing room floor seats available on certified resale. Led by Jakob Dylan, the Wallflowers are known for hits like “One Headlight” and “6th Avenue Heartache.” Erie native Brooke Surgener, an indie-folk pop singer, launches the show at 8 p.m.
Donnie Iris does his annual birthday bash concert Saturday at The Palace Theater in Greensburg. See the Beaver Valley’s resident rock star and his band The Cruisers take the stage around 7:30 p.m., ready to rock out on Top-40 hits “Ah! Leah!” and “Love Is Like a Rock.” Tickets cost $50 to $111.

Another member of Pittsburgh’s rock royalty, Scott Blasey, plays a free “Customer Appreciation Show” Wednesday at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. It’s a 21-and-older show starting at 8 p.m., and while there’s no cover, you still need to reserve a spot inside at jergels.com. Blasey fans can count on hearing surprise covers and songs Blasey has co-written for Western Pennsylvania rockers The Clarks, like maybe “Better Off Without You” heard in the opening scene of Season 2 of HBO/Max’s “The Pitt.”
